Understanding the Power of Reverse Osmosis
One thing that I feel we take for granted as a society, especially in a country like the United States, is our drinking water supply. Unfortunately, most people aren’t privileged enough to have access to clean drinking water or even fresh water; as a matter of fact, a staggering 1 in 4 people, 25% of the world's population, lack access to a clean water source. This is already a deeply challenging problem, which becomes more complex as we are currently facing an ongoing depletion of the world's freshwater supply.
Our future is nuclear
MIT wants to remove more carbon dioxide than they release. And the power source to drive this possible precedent in the fight against global warming is a miniature, portable version of a nuclear reactor. These are called Small Modular Reactors, otherwise known as SMRs.
How do we get to the moon?
On April 1st, the Artemis II mission launched from Florida, marking the first time the United States will visit the moon since December 1972. This is an amazing accomplishment, especially since it will be the first time humans will see some parts of the backside of the moon. However, the most underrated talking point between people is the actual technology used in space flight.
